“yoga stills the fluctuations of the mind.”
~ yoga chitta vritti nirodahaabbie found yoga in a time of chronic pain and mental illness. her first two experiences of yoga were kundalini and nidra - two practices that ignited her desire for this newfound energy and peace. after years of practice, and roaming the country and the world, she found herself at a teacher training at an ashram in India. here, she learned a reverence for breath-centered and breath-led yoga. having started the training only looking to deepen her personal practice, she soon realized a call to teach and to share her learnings with words and movement. her teaching is rooted in breath and presence above all else.
as she has settled from her nomadic lifestyle, she found a home in teaching and curating safe and welcoming spaces in her classes, allowing for growth and movement and stillness- right here, right now, come as you are.

“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”
~ The Gospel of Thomas, Saying 70christina rountree (she/they) is an embodiment practitioner, contemplative spiritual companion, musician, ceremonialist, and community space holder whose work lives at the meeting place of body, spirit, relationship, and the living world. Rooted in more than twenty years of contemplative practice and shaped by deep study and lived experience across qigong, yoga, meditation, energy work, experiential process, sacred sound, and mystical traditions, her work invites people out of abstraction and into direct relationship with what is alive.
at the heart of christina’s work is a trust in the wisdom already present within us—the body’s knowing, the truth of lived experience, and our innate capacity to listen, choose, create, and participate in our own becoming. through movement, breath, sound, contemplation, ceremony, and relational practice, she creates spaces that call people more fully home to themselves while cultivating greater presence, agency, belonging, and connection with the living world.
christina is a reiki master and trained yoga teacher, and the founder and executive director of kentucky grassroots healing, a nonprofit working to reduce financial barriers to holistic and embodied practices. she also tends sacred crossroads, a land-based gathering space in oldham county devoted to community, practice, music, ceremony, and relationship with the land. across individual sessions, group practices, retreats, and community gatherings, her work returns again and again to remembering what is already here—and living from that knowing more fully.

“Time Technique Repetition.”
after suffering a stroke and recovering from spinal surgery, mental health and physical well-being have become main priorities of mine. after being injured, yoga was the only thing I felt safe practicing. my daily practice is one of the main things allowing me to live a somewhat normal healthy life today. i received my 200hr YTT certification in 2022 and have been blessed to teach in studios across the midwest for several years now. in 2024 I was invited to a Katonah workshop which changed my practice and how I communicate with my body. since then I have pursued specialized training & certification in Katonah and today that's what I primarily practice and teach.

for Halle, the body has been one of her greatest teachers, with the breath serving as a guide and anchor through every season of life. a 200-hour certified yoga teacher through cleveland yoga, halle offers a slow, intentional approach to hatha yoga rooted in mindful movement, breath awareness, and embodied presence. she invites students to listen inward, honor the wisdom of their bodies, and experience yoga as a practice that extends beyond the mat and into everyday life.
